This 16-Plex Cinema prototype has received overwhelmingly positive audience response demonstrating a renewed and increasing interest in honest, direct, design expression.  The high volume, vaulted lobby brings immediate, strong visual impact and inviting appeal. The telescoping masses of the individual auditoriums transform what otherwise would be an over-sized, under articulated big-box. The bold scale, sculptural form and open face develop a recognizable, and memorable presence in the milieu.
The lobby with its radial, high space and day lighting creates an uplifting, joyous place. Its location in direct line-of-sight to and from all theater entrances provides clear orientation before and after shows. Strong, integrated graphics at the two promenades and each theater entrance facilitates easy way finding. Striking finishes and detailing which builds-in all components presents a polished, refined appearance, which has appealed to patrons after multiple visits.
The radiating fiber-optic lighting imbedded in the ceiling, the LIVE wall (Large Image Video Entertainment) seen from the parking lot as well as in the lobby, the friendly open counter ticketing, the electronic information gateway and even the expansive concession stand are all design coordinated to create an appropriately stimulating, yet easy going environment.

The promenades provide a contrasting, darker, more visually intense transition to the individual theaters.  Electronic messaging, hyper-form graphics, special lighting, intense color and reflections generate excitement and prepare one to temporarily suspend reality.

Inside the movie house, stadium seating provides unobstructed views of wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling pictures with digital surround sound.  Mechanical systems and demising walls use unique designs to minimize extraneous sound.

This architectural design has been overwhelmingly good for business.
